Same. I’ve been thinking about it a lot and this is what I can up up:
People switch up when you rise because your growth becomes a mirror. When you make what once looked impossible possible, it forces others to confront the parts of themselves they abandoned, avoided, or never had the courage to build. Your success is not just success anymore, it becomes evidence. Evidence that discipline matters. Evidence that choices compound. Evidence that becoming is possible. For some people, that is inspiring. For others, it is unbearable. Instead of facing the grief of what they postponed in themselves, they project it onto you. But the mirror is not the wound. Your rise did not create their insecurity. It only revealed it.
That summarizes very well the concept I felt too. Thing is that there is no secret, no secret sauce or magic wand that will make you do that impossible possible. It’s about believing in yourself and your thing before anyone else does, taking right and conscious choices every day, being grounded and working hard. I guess people either admire people that do this or hate them because they envy their self determination.
